Video Editor – Role Specification for Nearshore Partner
(Upper Intermediate Profile)
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor to join our Motion Team via a trusted nearshore partner. The role focuses on the editing and post-production of high-quality video content for our clients. Working closely with internal creatives, the editor will bring strong storytelling, editing craft, and collaborative energy to our daily production workflows.
Scope of Responsibilities
The nominated Video Editor will:

Be an integral part of our Motion Team and regularly create compelling video content for our clients.

Take ownership of the post-production process – including editing, animation, grading, and audio – in close coordination with other team members.

Collaborate with fellow creatives to develop fresh and impactful motion concepts.

Thrive in a team-oriented environment – whether by supporting other content creatives in daily tasks or iterating on new ideas together.

Creative & Strategic Skills

Strong sense for storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm

Solid understanding of brand identity and tone

Ability to tailor content to different platforms and audience needs
Video Editing & Post-Production

Confident editing across a range of formats (e.g., social media, explainers, short-form brand videos)

Familiarity with post-production workflows, from raw footage to final delivery

Basic motion design capabilities (animated transitions, on-screen text, lower thirds)

Grading and color correction understanding (working with LUTs and correction layers)

Nice to have: Experience on set and working with camera equipment is a strong plus.
Audio & Sound Design

Ability to enhance storytelling through music, clean sound edits, and effects

Familiarity with syncing voice, dialogue, and sound design with visual content

Interview & Technical Alignment
As part of the selection process, submitted portfolios will be reviewed before candidates are invited to an interview. We are looking for strong examples of editing craft, visual storytelling, and creative problem-solving.
