This is how you contribute.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that our internal development infrastructure runs smoothly (CI/CD systems, SCM Git and SVN, artifact repositories such as Nexus, code analysis tools such as SonarQube, monitoring systems).
  • You will operate and further develop our cloud infrastructure in AWS and advise our software architects on the selection of suitable AWS services for new projects.
  • You will design and implement scalable cloud architectures based on current best practices.
  • You will maintain our DevOps platform, including Kubernetes, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and the administration of database infrastructures (AWS RDS and Oracle).
  • You will ensure the secure and stable operation of the infrastructure through regular maintenance (e.g., patches and security updates).
  • You will monitor our systems, proactively investigate and resolve incidents (monitoring & troubleshooting).
  • You will ensure compliance with compliance and security standards throughout the infrastructure.
  • You will implement cost tracking and project-related cost allocation and optimize our cloud costs through efficient resource utilization.
  • You will further expand GitOps approaches to infrastructure automation and continuously improve our DevOps processes.

 

What you bring to the table.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps/cloud engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, and repository management (Nexus)
  • Team player qualities and an open and communicative nature with an independent and conscientious approach to work and a consulting mindset
  • High standards for structured work and quality results
  • Solid understanding of AI and its possible applications in everyday work
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
